Here are some more shots, some from Canadian Music Week, where Take Me to the Pilot played two more shows! Check them out. Others are from around my new place (I just moved). Taken with my Fuji Instax Mini 7s and the Fuji Instax Wide 210. Enjoy!

More Instax Fun!
Since it has been warmer out, I have been taking out my instax cameras more and more. They are a temperature sensitive so its nice that I can take more outdoor shots.

620 film????? + Facebook page
Hey everyone,
So when I first started buying cameras I noticed a lot of cameras that took 620 film. Being new to this I was a bit overwhelmed as 620 is hard to come by (almost impossible!) But don't worry There is a super quick fix by easily altering your 120 film you can fit it into 620 cameras in no time at all!

Lets say you have a roll of 120 like this!
And you want to put it into a camera like this
But when you open it up you see that is takes 620 film only
You will need a pair of small nail clippers, or manicure scissor... I think nail clippers are easier to handle
Cut the ribbed edge of the plastic spool off each side
Now it is ready to load into your camera! You can use a file to smooth the edge if you want to
Here is a tip though, when you go and get your film developed, make sure you politely ask the lab person to return the metal spool to you. For many reasons... It is probably a metal spool, which is really cool. But also because depending on what type of camera you are using, it may have a hard time feeding the film through when you switch the spools over to load the camera again. You can just use the metal spool over and over. I know for my Kodak Brownie Twin 20 camera, this isn't a problem, but I noticed it was a problem with the Kodak Folding camera.
I hope this helps people. Happy shooting :)
Also! I made a facebook page, if you read this blog, you should go "like" me. That would be pretty sweet
Thanks!
oops? Expired Film, Cat Camera
Hey Everyone,
I have not been posting for many reasons, changes at work, volunteering with Canadian Music Week, sleeping, and I am just getting over being sick. Luckily, I am feeling a lot better and will be out taking photos in no time!
Anyways, my last post i was talking about expired film, here are some shots.
I used my Holga Cat Camera, meow :) The fun/ interesting thing about this camera is that it doesn't have infinity focus. It is literally meant for taking close up shots of cats! It also has a button that makes the camera light up and make meowing noises!!! Since I wasn't out with any cats that day I took some photos of my friends in TAKE ME TO THE PILOT (click the link, and check em out!) They are my buddies from Winnipeg, Manitoba who make excellent music and played at Sneaky Dees a few weeks ago. I went to the show with my friend Danielle. We spent the day walking around, setting off the camera in my pocket so it would meow as people as we passed them. Danielle also decided to buy a ukelele. Great times. Anyways, I used a roll of Kodak Gold 200 ISO that was about a year or so expired. Enjoy.
